Why are so many helpers no longer available?
GTA Glitches reports permanent bans affecting accounts used as AFK hosts in Bad Sport sessions and jobs. Some reportedly lasted less than an hour. These reports do not establish whether the cause is a change in enforcement, abuse of reporting tools, or something else.
Losing a helper can also mean losing years of progress and connections with other players. Their owners have supported both glitching and some speedrunning activities, and some continue creating replacements despite the risk.
How do these helper accounts work?
A helper remains idle in a Bad Sport lobby so other players can attempt to join and receive the alerts required by certain setups. Players use them for activities such as vehicle merging, transfers, teleporting, and giving cars to friends (GCTF). Anawack is a well-known contributor who has provided helpers across console platforms.
What motivates players to run a helper?
Owners volunteer their accounts to help other players complete projects, share vehicles, and enjoy the game together. Contributors such as Xbox helper owner Ray and Anawack are part of that community effort. Seeing someone finish a custom car or receiving a thank-you can make maintaining a helper worthwhile.
Has the reason for the reported bans been confirmed?
The information supplied by GTA Glitches does not confirm a cause. These methods have existed for years, but that alone does not explain the reported bans or establish what changed.
Where can I submit a helper for the directory?
The source directory relies on community contributions. Share a helper through the GTA Glitches Discord. Our page reads their account feed and excludes private accounts.
Does an offline status mean the account is lost?
An offline status only indicates that the source is not currently reporting the account in GTA Online. It does not prove a ban. Accounts specifically flagged as banned or unusable appear in their own section; busy and unknown statuses are also shown separately from online availability.
How fresh is the information, and where can owners request removal?
GTA Glitches updates its presence information approximately every 10 minutes, and we check for changes every 11 minutes. The displayed source timestamp helps you judge its age.
